Summer Camp – Kids 4 Clean Water – Session 2

June 20, 2016 - June 24, 2016

- $150

Science camp in Chattanooga for young people ages 8 through 12 where we have fun in the water as we learn about our resources

what is down thereWhen you enroll in CaribbeanSEA Summer Camp, expect to learn!

We spend much of our time outdoors.  Our goal is to get the kids out  in watersheds and creeks every day.  We play in the streams, hike, make and race boats and sometimes we canoe.

Our camps emphasize science so we do things like collect samples of aquatic life from streams and see what they mean in terms of water quality. We have had TVA show us their fish shocking boat and teach us about all the different kinds of fish.  We do dye tracer studies at some sites to see how contaminants propagate in a stream.

We also have fun with arts and crafts and much much more.  Look at our pictures on our Caribbean Student Environmental Alliance Facebook page!!
