These are the fine folks who make all our projects happen!Maria

Maria is a recent environmental science graduate from University of Tennessee Chattanooga. She loves playing in the water and catching salamanders and has just moved to St. Lucia to serve as the local project coordinator! You can contact her at maria@caribbean-sea.org.

Laura is a recent master’s graduate from University of California Berkeley where she studied energy-efficiency in computers and buildings. She is interested in sustainability and watershed health and likes to think she isn’t allergic to poison ivy. She is helping with the Thrasher BMP project and starting up a volunteer water monitoring network. You can e-mail her at laura@caribbean-sea.org.

Reid has a MS in Environmental Science from UT Chattanooga and extensive experience writing, publicizing, and organizing Olympic-scale events. He is working on the Raines Group stormwater project with us and can really talk the talk. He is also an up-and-coming comedian but doesn’t know it yet.

Mary Beth is the amazing one-woman show running CaribbeanSEA. She is constantly on the move getting projects rolling, sometimes in St. Lucia, Dominica, or more recently, the Dominican Republic, Belize, or Haiti. To contact her, e-mail her at marybeth@caribbean-sea.org.

 

Randal is the man responsible for our sweet WordPress setup. He is the founder of North River Geographic Systems (GIS services), and he is starting an OpenStreetMap community in Chattanooga, Tennesseee.

 

Annette Vega is our Finance Manager who keeps the books legal and up-to-date! Without her, we might be broke or on the lam from the IRS or both.

Sheila helped kick-start some projects in Jamaica. She worked with Randy to create some maps of bacterial pollution in St. Lucia.
